Abstract
U ovom je radu detaljno opisano što je vizualizacija podataka, predstavljen je razvoj vizualizacije podataka kroz povijest, od njezinih najranijih dana do modernog doba te su pokazani primjeri primjene vizualizacije podataka. Predstavljeni su i neki od alata za vizualizaciju podataka, a detaljnije je objašnjen rad i mogućnosti alata za vizualizaciju podataka d3.js. Pomoću d3.js napravljena je interaktivna karta koja omogućuje pregled podataka prikupljenih popisom stanovništva RH iz 2011. godine
Abstract (english)
In this paper, we explained what is data visualization, we have presented the development of data visualization through history, from its earliest days to modern times, and showed the use of data visualization. We also presented some of the tools for data visualization and explained detailed work and the possibilities of data visualization tool d3.js. By dint of d3.js we created an interactive map which allows us to view the census data from 2011., the Republic of Croatia.
