Abstract
Ovaj rad istražuje utjecaj zasjenjenja na performanse fotonaponskih modula. Rad započinje pregledom literature u kojemu je objašnjeno kako zasjenjenje utječe na module. Obrađuje se pojam Sunčeve energije te samih karkteristika Sunca i vrsta Sunčevih zračenja. Radom su prikazane i karakteristike fotonaponskih modula, vrste istih te matematički model fotonaponskog modula. Navedene su, imenovane i opisane fizikalne veličine ključne za razumijevanje funkcioniranja modula. Detaljno se opisuje način rada fotonaponskih modula prilikom zasjenjenja. Mjerenja su provedena u Laboratoriju za obnovljive izvore energije na Fakultetu elektrotehnike, računarstva i informacijskih tehnologija u Osijeku te je navedena i opisana sva oprema korištena pri mjerenjima koja su bila potrebna za pisanje ovoga završnog rada. Analiza dobivenih rezultata prikazuje utjecaj korištenja zaobilaznih (bypass) dioda te se jasno vidi kako tankoslojni fotonaponski moduli imaju homogenije rezultate odnosno nema prevelikih oscilacija između pojedinih slučajeva zasjenjenja. Zaključno, zasjenjenje fotonaponskih modula ima veliku ulogu pri proizvodnji električne energije te je vrlo bitno pravilno odabrati lokaciju i vrstu modula pri projektiranju solarne elektrane kako bi se maksimizirala korisnost ulaganja.
Abstract (english)
This thesis investigates the impact of shading on the performance of photovoltaic (PV) modules. The study begins with a literature review explaining how shading affects the modules. It covers the concept of solar energy, characteristics of the Sun, and types of solar radiation. The thesis also presents the characteristics of photovoltaic modules, their types, and a mathematical model of a PV module. It lists, names, and describes the physical quantities essential for understanding how modules work. The thesis provides a detailed description of how photovoltaic modules operate under shading conditions. Measurements were conducted in the Renewable Energy Laboratory at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Technology in Osijek, with a description of all equipment used for the measurements necessary for writing this thesis. The analysis of the results demonstrates the impact of using bypass diodes and shows that thin-film photovoltaic modules exhibit more homogeneous results, with less variation between different shading scenarios. In conclusion, shading of photovoltaic modules plays a significant role in electricity production, and it is crucial to properly select the location and type of modules when designing a solar power plant to maximize the return on investment.
