Abstract
Temu proceduralnog generiranja i izbjegavanja prepreka smo u radu započeli kroz objašnjenje funkcija šuma u kontekstu proceduralnog generiranja terena. Fokusirali smo se na Perlin šum funkciju kao primjer i objasnili njen način generiranja pseudo-nasumičnih vrijednosti. Nakon toga je objašnjen proces pronalaska optimalnog puta, te rad autonomnog agenta za prelazak dobivenog puta. Kao rezultat rada je dobiveni simulator u Unity razvojnom okruženju koji omogućava generiranje otoka i testiranje algoritma A* za pronalazak optimalnog puta. Na kraju je detaljno je opisan simulator kao i upute za njegovo korištenje.
Abstract (english)
The topic of terrain generation and obstacle avoidance begun with an explanation of noise functions in the context of procedural terrain generation. The focus was on the Perlin noise function as an example where we define and explain its generation of pseudo-random values. Afterwards, the workings of the pathfinding algorithm and the autonomous agent are explained. The thesis result is a simulator developed in Unity which generates islands and testing of the A+ algorithm.
