Abstract
Ovaj rad istražuje analizu podataka primjenom jednostavne linearne regresije kako bi se istražila veza između brzine vozila i puta zaustavljanja. Uspoređuju se dva modela: jedan koji koristi originalne podatke i drugi koji koristi podatke transformirane primjenom kvadratnog korijena puta zaustavljanja. Analiza podataka i modeliranje regresije provode se koristeći programski jezik R koji pruža napredne funkcionalnosti za statističku analizu. Cilj ove analize je istražiti primjenu jednostavne linearne regresije i njezine pretpostavke, te raspraviti u kojim situacijama je prikladno transformirati podatke.
Abstract (english)
This paper explores the analysis of data using simple linear regression to investigate the relationship between vehicle speed and stopping distance. Two models are compared: one using the original data and the other using transformed data by taking the square root of the stopping distance. The data analysis and regression modeling are performed using the R programming language, which provides powerful functionalities for statistical analysis. The objective of this analysis is to examine the application of simple linear regression and its assumptions, as well as to discuss the appropriate circumstances for data transformation.
