Abstract | Ovaj rad istražuje primjenu generativnih alata, kao što su ChatGPT, PixelLab i Suno, u razvoju videoigara unutar okruženja Godot Enginea. Cilj je analizirati kako ovi alati mogu unaprijediti proces razvoja videoigara, s posebnim naglaskom na učinkovitost, kreativnost i inovativnost u odnosu na tradicionalne metode. Rad se sastoji od teorijskog i praktičnog dijela. U teorijskom dijelu opisani su korišteni alati (ChatGPT, Suno, Aseprite i drugi). U praktičnom dijelu rada, razvijen je prototip videoigre u kojem su generativni alati korišteni za automatizaciju ključnih aspekata dizajna, programiranja i stvaranja zvučnih elemenata. Tijekom razvoja analizirane su njihove specifične primjene u generiranju koda, grafike i zvuka. Generirani su kod, grafika i jedinstveni elementi igre, poput likova i okruženja. Na kraju je provedena analiza i usporedba generativnih metoda s tradicionalnim pristupima razvoja videoigara, čime se ukazalo na prednosti i izazove korištenja umjetne inteligencije u kreativnim procesima razvoja videoigara. |
Abstract (english) | This paper explores the application of generative tools such as ChatGPT, PixelLab, and Suno in video game development within the Godot Engine environment. The aim is to analyze how these tools can improve the game development process, with a special focus on efficiency, creativity, and innovation compared to traditional methods. The paper consists of theoretical and practical sections. In the theoretical section, the tools used (ChatGPT, Suno, Aseprite, and others) are described. In the practical section, a video game prototype was developed in which generative tools were used to automate key aspects of design, programming, and sound creation. During the development process, their specific applications in generating code, graphics, and sound were analyzed. Code, graphics, and unique game elements, such as characters and environments, were generated. Finally, an analysis and comparison of generative methods with traditional approaches to game development was conducted, highlighting the advantages and challenges of using artificial intelligence in the creative processes of game development. |
