Abstract
Paleta boja ima važnu ulogu u umjetnosti, fotografiji i dizajnu budući da može znatno utjecati na način kako doživljavamo slike. Ovim radom napravljen je pregled i opis metoda za ekstrakciju palete boja iz slika, a u praktičnom dijelu odabrano je grupiranje metodom K-srednjih vrijednosti za implementaciju algoritma ekstrakciju palete boja. Programski alat omogućuje korisniku ekstrahiranje dominantnih boja iz slike, pohranjivanje rezultata u različitim formatima te prilagođavanje broja boja u paleti. Također je implementirana funkcionalnost prijenosa boja iz jedne slike na drugu. Evaluacija programskog rješenja provedena je korištenjem slika iz skupa podataka COCO, a rezultati su pokazali da odabrana metoda pretežno uspješno identificira i prikazuje dominantne boje u slikama.
Abstract (english)
The color palette plays an important role in art, photography, and design as it can significantly influence the way we perceive images. This paper provides an overview and description of methods for extracting a color palette from images. In the practical part, the K-means clustering method was selected for the implementation of the color palette extraction algorithm. The software tool allows users to extract dominant colors from an image, save the results in various formats, and adjust the number of colors in the palette. Additionally, a functionality for color transfer from one image to another has been implemented. The evaluation of the software solution was conducted using images from the COCO dataset, and the results showed that the selected method predominantly successfully identifies and displays the dominant colors in the images.
