Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je bio usporediti dvije norme kompresije podataka, H.264 i H.265. Implementirane su same norme te neki od zanimljivih algoritama korištenih pri predviĎanju slika i ostvarenju kompresije podataka. Algoritmi koji su usporeĎivani su Full Search Algorithm, One at a Time Search Algorithm te Gradient Search Algorithm. Velika primjena novih tehnologija kompresije i prijenosa podataka u medicini pridonosi razvoju cijelog sustava zdravstva. Implementirani algoritmi korišteni su unutar meĎuslikovne predikcije s ciljem rješavanja problema vremenske redundancije. Algoritmima smo traţili vektor pokreta, odnosno predviĎenu sliku koju smo poslije oduzeli od trenutne i predali dalje tu razliku zajedno sa vektorima pokreta. Korišten je osnovni profil pri implementaciji normi te sukladno s njime I i P slike. Nakon same usporedbe zaključili smo kako je H.265 norma kompresije podataka skoro duplo bolje i pametnije implementirana u odnosu na normu kojoj je uzela mjesto, H.264 normu.
Abstract (english)
The main objective of this work was to compare two standards in data compression, H.264 and H.265 standard. Both standards are implemented and some of the most interesting algorithms have been used to make a image prediction and for realization of data compression. The algorithms that are compared are Full Search Algorithm, One at a Time Search Algorithm and Gradient Search Algorithm. We used each of the algorithms to make a predicted image. Using a new compression technology and data transfer in medicine truly help our health care system to move forward. Implemented algorithms are used within the interframe prediction in order to address the problem of time redundancy. With this three algorithms we were searching for a motion vector between frames. We used the basic profile in the implementation of standards and according to him I and P pictures. After the comparisons, we concluded that the H.265 standard of data compression almost twice as better and smartly implemented in relation to the H.264.
