Abstract
Induktivno-digitalni pretvornik je, kao što mu i sam naziv kaže, pretvornik koji obrađuje podatke koje mu šalje senzor (zavojnica), te ih pretvara u digitalni oblik pogodan za daljnju programsku obradu. Princip rada induktivnog senzora se temelji na promjeni magnetskog polja zavojnice, odnosno indukciji vrtložnih struja kad se u magnetskom polju petlje nađe metalni predmet. U ovom slučaju su kao metalni predmeti uzete kovanice, a one, zbog svog različitog kemijskog sastava, uzrokuju indukciju vrtložnih struja različite jakosti, a samim time su i digitalne informacije koje izlaze iz pretvornika drugačije za svaku kovanicu. U radu je korišten LDC1000EVM na kojoj je implementiran mikrokontroler MSP430F5528, dok je druga moguća opcija odspajanje ugrađenog i dodavanje vanjskog mikrokontrolera preko portova za SPI komunikaciju. Za ostvarenje funkcionalnosti SPI komunikacije izrađen je programski kod u Code Composer Studio okruženju, i to za mikrokontroler MSP430F5529. Funkcionalnost senzora ispitana je mjerenjima, a programska podrška koja ispisuje sakupljene podatke o kovanici je GUI. Na početnoj stranici GUI-ja je jasno vidljivo da se sa udaljenosti, kao i sa sastavom metalnog predmeta mijenja i impedancija, kao i da impedancija ovisi o frekvenciji. Iz tih podataka je moguće raspoznati da se radi o različitim kovanicama stavljenim u magnetsko polje zavojnice.
Abstract (english)
Inductive to digital converter is, as its name suggests, the converter which processes the data sent by the sensor (coil), and convert them to digital form for further processing. The principle of the inductive sensor is based on the change of magnetic field around a coil (loop), or induction of eddy currents when metal object is inside the magnetic field. In this case, coins were taken as metal objects, and they, because of their different chemical composition, cause the induction of different eddy currents, and thus the digital information coming from the converter is different for each coin. Here is used LDC1000EVM where the MSP430F5528 microcontroller is implemented, while another possibility is disconnecting the built-in and adding an external microcontroller through ports for SPI communication. To achieve the functionality of the SPI communication is made code in Code Composer Studio, for MSP430F5529 microcontroller. The functionality of the sensor was tested by measurements, and the software that prints collected data about the coin is GUI. On the GUI home page is clearly visible that with the distance, as well as with the composition of the metal object changing also the impedance, and that the impedance is frequency independent. From these data it is possible to recognize that different coins are placed inside the magnetic field of the loop.
