Abstract
Cilj rada je osmišljavanje i analiza modela gibanja pčele u polju senzorsko-aktuatorskih uređaja (CASU) kako bi se on kasnije iskoristio u sklopu EU projekta ASSISIbf („Animal and robot Societies Self-organize and Integrate by Social Interaction (bees and fish)”). ASSISIbf je projekt čiji je cilj stvoriti robote koji su sposobni uklopiti se u životinjske zajednice (riba i pčela) te međusobnom interakcijom omogućiti utjecaj čovjeka na njih. Pčela voli toplinu, svijetlost i vibracije. U radu je analizirano gibanje pčele u polju gdje postoji gradijent temperature. Osmišljena su i analizirana dva modela: model u kojem je pčela sposobna osjetiti gradijent temperature (npr. pomicanjem ticala) i model u kojem pčela raspoznaje temperaturu te ima memoriju kojom pamti temperature pripadajuće prethodnim pozicijama. Podaci o stvarnom gibanju pčela prikupljeni su iz video materijala snimljenih na eksperimentalnom postavu. Gibanje pčele statistički je obrađeno te uspoređeno s navedenim modelima. U Enki simulatoru implementiran je upravljački proces za navedene modele kako bi se vizualno predstavilo gibanje pčele, te kasnije simulirao cijeli sustav pčela i CASU jedinica.
Abstract (english)
The goal of the project is to develop and analyze the model of bee movement in a field of CASUs (Combined actuator sensor units), which would be later used as a part of EU project ASSISIbf („Animal and robot Societies Self-organize and Integrate by Social Interaction (bees and fish)”). ASSISIbf is project whose goal is to create robots that are able to develop communication channels to animal societies (bees and fish) on its own, which would later be used to lay new foundations on the way how humans can interfere with animal societies in order to manage the environment. Bees like heat, light and vibrations. In this project bees’ reaction and movement in a field with a temperature gradient was researched. Two models were proposed: one in which is assumed that the bee can feel and detect temperature gradient (possibly with tentacles) and another one in which is assumed that bee can detect temperature and also has a memory to log position and belonging temperature. Data about bee’s real movement were acquired from video materials made on experimental setup. Moves were analyzed and compared with proposed models. In Enki simulator a control system for bees was implemented to visualize movement but also to enable future simulation of the whole system of bees and CASU units.
