Abstract
Rad daje uvid u algoritam marširajućih kocaka. Kroz objašnjenje jednostavnijeg algoritma marširajućih kvadrata, pojašnjenja ključnih pojmova poput interpolacije i voxela, dolazi do ideje naslovnog algoritma. Algoritam je objašnjen uz mnoštvo slika koje pomažu shvaćanju algoritma i jer se radi o algoritmu povezanom s računalnom grafikom. Pokazani su i rezultati u dvije različite primjene algoritma i istaknuti nedostatci. U radu je također objašnjen program koji koristi algoritam kako bi rekonstruirao površine iz medicinskih podataka napravljen u programskom jeziku Python koristeći OpenCV i OpenGL biblioteke.
Abstract (english)
Final work gives us insight in marching cubes algorithm. Through explanations of simpler marching squares algorithm and key terms like linear interpolation and voxels to reach idea behind marching cubes algorithm. Paper is full of pictures that help in understanding of the algorithm since we are in field of computer graphics. We also explain program made in Python using OpenGL and OpenCV libraries that uses the algorithm for reconstruction of surfaces from medical data.
