Abstract
Cilj rada bila je izgradnja socijalne mreže namijenjene starijim osobama i razvoj klijentske WebRTC video aplikacije te pripadnog signalizacijskog poslužitelja. Uloga signalizacijskog poslužitelja je uspostava veze između korisnika društvene mreže. Signalizacijski poslužitelj omogućava razmjenu mrežnih podataka korisnika (IP adrese i vratiju) potrebnih za uspostavu peer-to-peer veze i odabir postavki video komunikacije (rezolucija video zapisa i upotrebljeni kodek). Poslužitelj je razvijan uporabom Node.js i Socket.io tehnologija. Klijentski dio aplikacije implementira MediaStream i RTCPeerConnection programsko sučelje. MediaStream sučelje omogućuje pristup video i audio toku podataka, dok je RTCPeerConection zaslužan za uspostavljanje i održavanje video veze.
Abstract (english)
Goal of this thesis was to build a social network for the elderly and development of client WebRTC video application and the associated signaling server. The role of the signaling server is to establish connection between users of social network. Signaling server allows sharing of network user data (IP address and port) necessary for the establishment of a peer-to-peer connections and settings needed to establish the video communication (video resolution and codec). The server was developed using Node.js and Socket.io technology. Client part of the application implements MediaStream and RTCPeerConnection APIs. MediaStream API provides access to video and audio data streams, while RTCPeerConnection API is responsible for establishing and maintaining a video link.
