Abstract
Poslije terorističkih napada u SAD i poslije nesreće u NE Fukushima počele su se razmatrati mogućnosti dugotrajnog gubitka hlađenja i velikih gubitaka hladioca s posljedičnim otkrivanjem goriva, oksidacijom košuljice, proizvodnjom vodika i u konačnici taljenjem i relokacijom goriva praćeni oslobađanjem velike količine plinovitog radioaktivnog materijala. Nakon završetka ciklusa rada elektrane iz reaktora se vade istrošeni gorivni elementi i pohranjuju u bazen za istrošeno gorivo. Istrošeno gorivo generira ostatnu toplinu i prirodnom se cirkulacijom vode, koju u bazen dovodi vanjski rashladni sustav, hladi bazen. Pomoću programa MELCOR snimljeni su odzivi za slučaj gubitka rashladnog sustava i opadanje razine vode u NE Krško. Bazen je realiziran jednostavnim hidrauličkim komponentama čije su dimenzije unaprijed određene.
Abstract (english)
After the terrorist attacks in the United States and after the accident at NPP Fukushima, began the consideration of possibility of long-term loss of cooling and large losses of coolant with subsequent fuel uncovering, clad oxidation, hydrogen production and ultimately fuel melting and relocation followed by releasing large amounts of gaseous radioactive material. After completion of power plant work cycle, spent fuel elements are removed from the reactor and stored in the spent fuel pool. Spent fuel generates residual heat and uses natural circulation of water and external cooling system for cooling down the pool. Using MELCOR software, water and fuel heat-up in case of loss of the cooling system and the decline of the water level in the Krško NPP were calculated. The pool is realized by simple hydraulic components whose dimensions are predetermined.
