Augmented reality is a direct or indirect view of the real-world environment that has been virtually augmented with any of the sensory modalities such as visual, auditory or any other. Augmented reality changes the way that user sees the world around him by adding, removing or altering its components. List of possible applications is wide, and it goes through many fields starting from architecture all the way to the army and medical fields. Using augmented reality features as an addition or as a main feature is becoming more common with every new app, and many well-known applications are starting to implement it in some way. Application that has been made as a part of this master demonstrates some of the possibilities and quality of the ARKit, library for implementing and developing augmented reality on iOS platform. Application enables player to play card game in an augmented reality. User has options to play against a computer or against another user. Game is played in the user’s environment which is captured by camera from the user’s device, and to that environment couple of things are added such as table to play cards on, cards and virtual representation of the opponent. Those elements even have some physical elements such as gravity, so the experience would feel more natural.
