Abstract
Optička komunikacija javlja se kao alternativna tehnologija u područjima primjene u kojima se zbog određenih razloga, kao što su elektromagnetske smetnje ili loša propagacija valova, ne mogu upotrebljavati uobičajene radijske tehnologije. Svrha ovog završnog rada je opis, razvoj i primjena jednog takvog sustava predviđenog za komunikaciju pod vodom. Sustav se sastoji od analognog odašiljača i analognog prijemnika te ugradbenog sustava predviđenog za interpretaciju i odašiljanje podataka. Kao optički izvor koriste se svjetleće diode, a kao optički prijemnik fotodiode.
Abstract (english)
Optical communication presents itself as an alternative technology in area of application where for certain reasons, like electromagnetic disturbance or poor wave propagation, standard radio technology can’t be used. The purpose of this final work is description, development and application of such a system, designed for underwater communication. The system is composed of an analogue transmitter, analogue receiver and a development tool, which is responsible for transmitting and receiving data. LED diodes are used as an optical source and photodiodes are used as optical receivers.
