Abstract
Alternator je električni generator koji pretvara mehaničku energiju u električnu energiju u obliku izmjeničnog napona i struje. Radi na principu elektromagnetske indukcije. Napon se inducira promjenom magnetskog toka kroz zavojnicu konstantne površine. Za projektiranje i simulaciju linearnog alternatora odabran je programski alat Infolytica MagNet koji sadrži sve funkcije koje su nam potrebne. Osnovne komponente od kojih je model alternatora sastavljen su: jaki neodimijski magneti posloženi po pravilu Halbachovog niza, željezna jezgra, bakrena zavojnica sa 200 namotaja, komponenta zraka i komponenta gibanja. Za ispitivanje linearnih alternatora i drugih sličnih uređaja koristi se mjerna postava koja se sastoji od: istosmjernog motora, mehaničkog pretvornika rotacijskog gibanja u linearne pomake, vagona te frekvencijskog pretvarača kojim se upravlja brzinom vrtnje motora.
Abstract (english)
Alternator is electrical generator which converts mechanical energy to electrical energy in form of alternate voltage and current. It is based on electromagnetic induction principle. Voltage is induced as the result of change of magnetic flux inside the coil. For designing and simulation of linear alternator we chose program called MagNet by Infolytica Corporation, which contains all functions that we need. The model of linear alternator is composed of these basic components: strong neodymium magnets arranged in the form of Halbach array, iron core, copper coil with 200 windings, component of air and component of motion. Linear alternators and similar devices are tested on measuring setup which is made of these components: DC motor, a mechanical component which converts rotation to translation, a wagon and a frequency converter which controls the speed of rotation.
