Abstract
U ovom radu obrađeni su osnovne funkcionalnosti blockchain sustava najpopularnije kriptovalute Bitcoin. Pod pretpostavkom da jedan korisnik u mreži stvara jednu transakciju, napravljene su sedmodnevne promjene mreža transakcija temeljene na principima teorije grafova, gdje su korisnici mreže predstavljeni kao čvorovi, a njihove međusobne transakcije kao veze. Na takvim vremenskim promjenama mreže izračunata su određena statistička svojstva mreža, kao što su veličina mreže, centralnost, koeficijenti grupiranja i ''Rich Club'' koeficijenti na temelju kojih je zaključeno kao se Bitcoin mreža razvija kao scale free mreže. Također napravljen su prediktivni linearni modeli koji samo na temelju statističkih svojstava sedmodnevnih promjena u mreži mogu uspješno estimirati volatilnost i cijenu bitcoina u sljedećih sedam dana, čime pokazana zavisnost između distribucije bitcoina u mreži i njegove vrijednosti.
Abstract (english)
This master thesis covers basic functionalities of the blockchain system of the most popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin. Assuming that one user in the network creates one transaction, seven-day changes of transaction network are made by using principles of the graph theory. Network users are represented as nodes and their mutual transactions as edges. Those network time changes are used to calculate certain statistical properties, such as network size, centrality, clustering coefficients and Rich Club coefficients, based on which it is concluded that the Bitcoin network is developing as a scale free network. Predictive linear models have been made as well, showing the dependence between bitcoin distribution in the network and its value.
