Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je opisati i analizirati koncept upravljanja potrošnjom te njegove mogućnosti i prepreke. U radu je kratko objašnjen proces liberalizacije elektroenergetskog sustava, potrebe za upravljanjem potrošnjom te mogućnostima upravljanjem potrošnjom. Kratko je objašnjen način rada podatkovnog centra te mogućnosti upravljanja potrošnjom u njemu. Koristeći optimizacijski softver, na temelju stvarnih podataka o potrošnji podatkovnog centra, dobiveni su parametri kojima se minimiziraju troškovi pogona samog centra tijekom jednog dana. Iz njih se jasno zaključuje da se upravljanjem potrošnjom mogu postići značajne uštede.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this thesis was to describe and analyze the concepts of demand response and its possibilities and obstacles. Process of liberalization of electro energetic system, need for demand response and possibilities of demand response were described, as well as data center’s way of working and ways to reduce operating costs. By using an optimization software, based on actual data from data center, minimal daily operating costs were calculated. The results show that demand response can significantly reduce operating costs.
