Abstract
Energetski transformatori ključna su sastavnica današnjeg elektroenergetskog sustava. Njihova zaštita neophodna je za adekvatno funkcioniranje mreže. Sustavi zaštite moraju biti projektirani tako da pravovremeno detektiraju pojavu kvara. Također, moraju uzeti u obzir tehničke specifikacije transformatora kojeg štite. Najčešće korištena zaštita transformatora jest relejna zaštita. Unutar nje, postoje tri vrste zaštite: nadstrujna, distantna i diferencijalna. Svaka od njih imaju svoje pozitivne i negativne karakteristike, no, ono što ih povezuje jest svojstvo selektivnosti. Uz navedenu zaštitu, koristi se i druge vrste zaštite koje transformator štite od preopterećenja, najčešće onog termičkog. Dakako, ne postoji idealni recept za zaštitu već ona ovisi o kontekstu u kojem se transformator nalazi.
Abstract (english)
Power transformers are a key element in today's electric power systems. Making sure they are protected correctly is necessary for an adequate functioning network. Protection systems must be designed to detect faults in time. Also, they must take the technical specifications of the transformer they are protecting into account. The most commonly used transformer protection is relay protection. There are three kinds of relay protections: overcurrent, distance and differential. Each one of them has its positive and negative traits, but what they all have in common is the feature of selectivity. Along with the above mentioned protection, mostly thermic overload protection is used. Of course, there is no ideal recipe for protection since it depends on the context of the transformer it is supposed to protect.
