Abstract
U ovom radu ispitivan je princip frekvencijskog zaključavanja pomoću FP-LD „slave“ lasera sa faktorom refleksije prednjeg zrcala 30 %, te DFB lasera kao„master“ lasera. Prije samog postizanja efekta frekvencijskog zaključavanja ispitane su karakteristike FP-LD lasera uključujući: spektar, šum, izlaznu optičku snagu u ovisnosti o struji, napon u ovisnosti o struji te ponašanje pri zapornoj polarizaciji. Efekt frekvencijskog zaključavanja je ispitan na nekoliko različitih valnih duljina, pri različitim pogonskim strujama FP-LD te pri varijaciji optičke snage DFB „master“ lasera." Injection locking" FP-LD lasera ( faktor refleksije prednjeg zrcala 30%) je bio uspješno postignut pri dovoljno velikoj optičkoj snazi upadnog zračenja. Napravljeno je referentno mjerenje frekvencijskog zaključavanja FP-LD lasera sa faktorom refleksije 2 % na prednjem zrcalu. Vidljivo je da je potrebna manja optička snaga „master“ lasera za zaključavanje sa laserima manjeg postotka refleksivnosti prednjeg zrcala.
Abstract (english)
In this report the concept of injection locking using Fabry–Pérot laser diode was studied. DFB laser was used as a seed laser. Reflection coefficient of front mirror of FP-LD laser was 30%. Following characteristics of Fabry-Perot laser diode were studied before injection locking experiment: optical spectrum, output optical power in dependence of laser current, voltage current characteristics and finally reverse bias behvior. Injection locking was studied on several frequencies of seed laser light and at several different amount of input optical power.Successful injection locking was reached at relatively high input powers of seed laser. As a reference, injection locking experiment was also done using FP-LD laser with front mirror reflection index of 2%. Result of the experiment proved that the less is the reflection of front mirror the smaller amount of input optical power is needed to reach the effect.
