Abstract
Razvoj IoT umnogome ovisi o 5G mreži, čije će mogućnosti otvoriti vrata za brojne nove primjene. 5G počiva na temeljima tehnologija full duplex, beamforming, malih ćelija, milimetarskih valova i masivnog MIMO-a. 5G mora pokazati bolja svojstva od postojećih tehnologija za IoT primjene kao što su LoRa, Sigfox, Ingenu-RPMA, DASH7 i Weightless. Otvorena pitanja za 5G i IoT su sigurnost i povjerljivost podataka. Ključ uspjeha 5G mreže za IoT primjene leži u potrošnji energije i propusnosti.
Abstract (english)
Development of IoT depends on 5G network, which will enable many use cases of IoT. 5G enablers are full duplex, beamforming, small cells, millimeter waves and massive MIMO. 5G must have better features than existing IoT technologies like LoRa, Sigfox, Ingenu-RPMA, DASH7 and Weightless. Open questions for 5G and IoT are security and confidentiality of data. Key of 5G network success for IoT lies in energy consumption and data throughput.
