Abstract
Progresivne webovske aplikacije su suvremene aplikacije predviđene prvenstveno za mobilne uređaje. One objedinjuju najbolje karakteristike mobilnih nativnih i mobilnih webovskih aplikacija. Odlikuje ih pouzdanost rada čak i u uvjetima nestabilnosti veze, brzina reakcije na interakciju korisnika te privlačan izgled koji daje dojam instalirane aplikacije na uređaju. U ovom radu je detaljno objašnjen način rada i implementacija osnovnih komponenti koje čine jednu aplikaciju progresivnom, a to su: uslužna skripta, arhitektura ovojnice aplikacije, manifest webovskih aplikacija i automatske obavijesti. Objašnjene su prednosti ovih aplikacija te dat kratak osvrt kakav će njihov utjecaj biti na budući razvoj mobilnih aplikacija. Za verifikaciju teza iznesenih u radu, izrađena je ogledna aplikacija.
Abstract (english)
Progressive web applications are modern applications designed primarily for mobile devices. They combine the best features of native and mobile web applications. They are characterized by their reliability even in uncertain network conditions, quick response to user interaction and engaging look that gives the feeling of a natural app installed on the device. This thesis describes in detail the way of working and the implementation of basic components that make up a progressive application such as: service workers, application shell architecture, Web App Manifest and push notifications. The benefits of these applications are explained and a brief overview of their impact on the future development of mobile applications is given. A sample application was created for the verification of the claims presented in this thesis.
