Abstract
U ovom radu istražene su mogućnosti primjene ultraširokopojasne (UWB) tehnologije na lokalizaciju primjenom TDOA pristupa bez vremenske sinkronizacije čvorova. Istražene su mogućnosti korištenja OpenWSN protokolnog složaja za implementaciju sustava za pozicioniranje. Posebno su razrađeni detalji IEEE 802.15.4 i viših slojeva protokola nužni za realizaciju sustava. Za implementaciju algoritma pozicioniranja implementirano je rješenje temeljeno na Whistle metodi i Chanovom algoritmu. Provedene su simulacije kojima su pokazane značajke koje se takvim pristupom mogu dobiti pod različitim uvjetima. Razvijeno je korisničko sučelje za postavljanje osnovnih parametara konfiguracije sustava i vizualizaciju određenih pozicija prilagođeno 3D prikazu u web pregledniku.
Abstract (english)
This paper explores the possibility of application of the ultra-wideband (UWB) technology for localization by using the TDOA approach without time synchronization between the nodes. Research on applicability of the OpenWSN protocol stack for implementation of the positioning system was done. Particular attention in system implementation was paid to IEEE 802.15.4 standard implementation details and higher protocol layers. The positioning algorithm implementation is based on the Whistle method and Chan's algorithm. Simulations were executed in order investigate characteristics of the proposed approach under different conditions. User interface for basic system parameters configuration and to visualization of determined positions in a 3D web browser was developed.
