Abstract
Integracijom obnovljivih izvora energije mijenja se način vođenja elektroenergetskog sustava, te predviđanje i fleksibilno upravljanja bliže stvarnom vremenu dobiva sve više na važnosti. Upravo u tom kontekstu važno je razviti odgovarajuće alate kojima je moguće jednoznačno kvantificirati prednosti pojedinih izvora fleksibilnosti u tranziciji prema niskougljičnom energetskom sustavu. U radu je razvijen optimizacijski model temeljen na izravnim metodama matematičkog modeliranja. Kroz analize je definirana potreba za fleksibilnosti u ovisnosti o udjelu obnovljivih izvora energije te analizirane mogućnosti raznih tehnologija da pruže istu.
Abstract (english)
Integration of renewable energy sources means that traditional concepts of power system operation need to be changed, as predictions and flexible control closer to real-time operations are gaining on importance. In this context it is highly important to develop appropriate tools to quantify benefits of different flexibility sources in transition towards low carbon energy systems. The focus of this work was on developing an optimization model based on direct methods of mathematical modelling. The analyses defined the flexibility need depending on the share of renewable energy sources as well as possibilities of different technologies to provide these services.
