Abstract
Četvrtu generaciju reaktora odlikovati će veća efikasnost goriva, smanjena proizvodnja otpada, ekonomska konkurentnost i poštivanje strogih standarda sigurnosti. Na temelju tih zahtjeva razvijaju se programi i vode istraživanja koja će omogućiti gradnju nuklearnih elektrana četvrte generacije. Među šest odabranih koncepata ističe se visokotemperaturni reaktor, koji se svojim svojstvima (izlazna temperatura iznad 1000 C) nameće kao izvrstan izvor termalne energije potrebne u termokemijskim procesima proizvodnje vodika.
Abstract (english)
Fourth generation reactors will be defined by greater fuel efficiency , reduced production of waste , economic competitiveness and compliance with strict safety standards . Based on these requirements R&D programs, which are being conducted, will allow the construction of nuclear power plants of the fourth generation . Among the six selected concepts, the high temperature reactor is imposed as an excellent source of thermal energy needed in thermochemical hydrogen production processes .
