Abstract
Ovaj je rad namijenjen analizi poruka koje se mogu razmjenjivati na Sh sučelju IP Multimedijalnog podsustava (IMS). Da bi to postigli, ovaj rad je prvo pokrio osnove LTE mreža, uključujući i njihovu arhitekturu i najznačanije entitete od kojih se sastoji. Nadalje, objašnjene su uloge entiteta koji su ključni za pravilan rad IMS-a. Diplomski rad je objasnio temelje IMS-a i određene referentne točke (sučelja) za bolje razumijevanje teme kojom se sam rad bavi. Slijedom toga, objašnjen je protokol Diameter i format njegovih poruka. On je neophodan za pravilan rad IMS-a, a i same poruke koje su se analizirale na Sh sučelju su poruke Diameter protokola. Za potrebe analize kojom se bavi diplomski rad je razvijen program Diameter Routing Agent. Zahtjevi, funkcionalnosti, arhitektura i primjena tog programa su objašnjeni u predzadnjem poglavlju. Posljedne poglavlje objašnjava testove koji su rađeni, opisuje okruženje u kojem su testovi pokrenuti te rezultate koji su prikupljeni.
Abstract (english)
This thesis was intended to analyse messages that can be exchanged on the Sh reference point of the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). To do that, the paper first went over the basics of LTE Networks, including its architecture and the most notable entities it consists of. Furthermore, it explained the functions of some of its entities and which of those are most important for the IMS. The paper went on to explain the fundamentals of the IMS and some of the reference point which were essential for understanding the problem this thesis tackles. Following that, the Diameter protocol and the format of its messages was explained, as it is essential for IMS functionalities and the messages that were being analysed were in fact diameter messages. A Diameter Routing Agent software was developed to be able to analyse the messages for this thesis and the second to last chapter of the thesis goes over its requirements, high-level architecture, functionalities and use cases. Last chapter explains what kind of tests were run, the testing environment and the results that were collected.
