Abstract
Temelj daljnjeg razvoja mreža novih generacija izgradnja je jedinstvene mreže koja bi omogućila miješanje svih vrsta prometnih tokova. Nova arhitekturna rješenja, novi tehnološki razvoj i razvoj novih protokola utječu na kvalitetu usluge i performanse mrežnih elemenata. U radu su razmotreni novi zahtjevi na signalizacijsku mrežu te njihov utjecaj na zahtjeve kvalitete usluge. Mrežni elementi utječu na relativne performanse usluga u stvarnom vremenu. Performanse mrežnih elementa ovise o različitim prometnim i sistemskim parametrima. Intenzitet dolazaka i vrijeme čekanja na obradu te parametri različitih aplikacija su osnova za usporedbu između sličnih prometnih tokova. Analiza performansi provela se uz pomoć stohastičkih analiza i matematičkog modeliranja.
Abstract (english)
The cornerstone of future new generation network development is the common service platform capable to transfer all traffic types through the core network. New network solutions, development of technology and development of new protocols affect the quality of service and the performance of network elements. In this thesis new requirements on signaling network and their influence on the quality of service requirements are considered. Network elements determine the relative performances of the real time services. Their performance depends on different traffic and system parameters. In this work traffic intensity and waiting time, along with parameters that characterize different applications are compared for similar traffic types. The performances were analyzed using stochastic analysis and mathematical modeling.
