Abstract
U prvom dijelu ovog rada opisane su neke od najznačajnijih tehnika raspodijeljenog programiranja. Najviše se prostora posvetilo tehnikama ONC RPC, CORBA, Java RMI, DCOM i .NET Remoting. Od ostalih tehnika spomenute su Web usluge, XML-RPC i MPI. Tehnike su međusobno uspoređene s obzirom na učinkovitost, stabilnost, prenosivost, lakoću programiranja i sigurnost. U drugom dijelu rada opisan je sustav zaštićen sigurnosnom stijenom, te su istraženi načini omogućavanja povratnog poziva s vanjskog poslužitelja. Praktičnim dijelom se pokazalo rješenje problema dvosmjerne komunikacije u obliku dvosmjernog .NET Remoting komunikacijskog kanala, koji koristi istu TCP/IP vezu stvorenu od strane klijenta za komunikaciju u oba smjera.
Abstract (english)
The first part of this thesis describes some of the most important techniques of distributed programming. The largest amount of time and space was devoted to ONC RPC, CORBA, Java RMI, DCOM and .NET Remoting techniques. Other techniques that were briefly mentioned are Web Services, XML-RPC and MPI. The techniques were mutually compared with regards to efficiency, stability, portability, ease of programming and security. The second part of this thesis elaborates the system protected by a firewall, and presents possible solutions to the problem of callbacks from the outside server. With the practical part of the thesis, a solution to the problem of a two-way communication was shown in the form of a bidirectional .NET Remoting communication channel that uses the same TCP/IP connection created by a client for the communication in both directions.
