Abstract
Republika Hrvatska, kao članica Konvencije o dalekosežnom prekograničnom onečišćenju zraka i Okvirne konvencije Ujedinjenih naroda o promjeni klime, preuzela je obvezu izvještavanja o emisijama u zrak sa svojeg područja. U cilju zadovoljenja preuzetih međunarodnih obveza, radi se na uspostavi pouzdanog Nacionalnog sustava za praćenje emisija u zrak. Model emisije u zrak iz energetskog sektora dio je Nacionalnog sustava za praćenje emisija u zrak. Proračun emisija je izveden primjenom glavnog modula AE-DEM programskog paketa (CollectER), uz dodatno korištenje COPERT III programa za određivanje emisija iz cestovnog prometa i IPCC software-a za određivanje emisija stakleničkih plinova. U radu su predstavljene korištene metodologije proračuna (CORINAIR i IPCC), potrebni ulazni podaci i rezultati proračuna, pri čemu je detaljnije prikazano određivanja emisija u zrak iz elektroenergetike. Također su predstavljene neke od najzastupljenijih tehnologija za smanjenje emisije SO2, NOx i čestica. Nadalje, analiziran je razvoj energetskog sektora, prema aktualnoj Strategiji, iz perspektive emisija u zrak. Na kraju rada, definirane su projekcije CO2, SO2 i NOx iz energetskog sektora, sa i bez primjene razmatranih mjera za smanjenje emisije, uz komentar mogućnosti zadovoljavanja međunarodnih obveza, s posebnim osvrtom na Protokol iz Kyota.
Abstract (english)
The Republic of Croatia, as a member of Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution and United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, has the obligation to report on air emissions from its territory. In order to satisfy its international obligations, Croatian inventory team works on establishment of reliable National emission inventory system. A Model for Air Emission from Energy sector is a part of National emission inventory system. The main module of AE-DEM software package (CollectER) is implemented, together with COPERT III programme for air emission calculation from Road Transport and IPCC software for determination of GHG emission. The thesis presents the implemented methodology (CORINAIR and IPCC), used data, and results of the air emission calculation, with an emphasis on the air emission calculation from Power Sector. The most expended “Best Available Techniques” for reduction of SO2, NOx and particles emissions are also presented. Furthermore, air emission aspects of Energy sector development, in accordance with actual Strategy, is analysed. At the end, the thesis considers the projections of CO2, SO2 and NOx emissions from Energy sector, with and without implementation of mitigation measures, and the possibilities of the international obligations fulfilment, especially the Kyoto protocol.
