Abstract
Kako bismo spriječili napade na informacijske sustave, moramo otkriti slabosti u našim sustavima te predvidjeti moguće točke upada. Kako bi se taj postupak ubrzao, koriste se razni modeli napadača i njihovih napada koji nam pomažu da se pripremimo na napade koji se još nisu dogodili. Na temelju tih modela mogu se izgraditi računalni programi koji imitiraju napadača i pomažu s automatizacijom procesa za koji je inače zadužen crveni tim. Izgradnjom virtualne mreže na operacijskom sustavu Linux uz pomoć alata LXC, ti alati se mogu testirati u sigurnoj okolini. Iako ne mogu zamijeniti crveni tim, niti bi za to trebali biti korišteni zbog svojih ograničenih sposobnosti, alati za simulaciju crvenog tima se mogu koristiti za edukaciju novih sigurnosnih stručnjaka te za provjeru osnovne razine sigurnosti nekog sustava.
Abstract (english)
In order to prevent cyberattacks, we must discover weaknesses in our systems and predict possible points of intrusion. In order to expedite this process, various models are used to predict adversary actions and prevent attacks that have not yet occured. Based on these models, we build software that can emulate adversary actions and help us automate the red teaming process. Using a virtual network using LXC on a Linux machine, we can test these tools in a safe and isolated environment. Even though they can't replace a red team due to their limited scope and shouldn't be used as such, red team simulators can be used a means to educate future cybersecurity experts and give us a basic idea of what level of security our system has.
