Abstract
Internet stvari (IoT) je pojam koji opisuje povezivanje različitih ugradbenih uređaja na internet. Ovi uređaji sadrže ugrađene senzore i sklopove za međusobnu komunikaciju. Definicija interneta stvari evoluirala je zbog konvergencije višestrukih tehnologija, strojnog učenja, robotskih senzora i ugrađenih sustava. U sklopu rada proučeni su AWS servisi i napravljena je demo implementacija IoT sustava koja obuhvaća osnovne AWS IoT funkcionalnosti. Pri izradi demo primjera korišten je nRF52840 Development Kit, Segger Embedded Studio, AWS konzola i mobilni uređaj na Android platformi. Na sklopovlju se izvršava Amazonov operacijski sustav za mikrokontrolere Amazon FreeRTOS koji preko Bluetooth Low Energy sučelja šalje podatke na mobilni uređaj te s njega se oni šalju dalje na oblak. Amazon FreeRTOS je ekstenzija popularnog FreeRTOS kernela. Sadrži sve funkcije normalnog FreeRTOS-a, uz dodatne knjižnice za povezivanje s AWS servisima.
Abstract (english)
Internet of Things (IoT) is a term that describes paradigm of connecting small embedded devices to the Internet. These devices include built-in sensors and hardware for mutual communication. The definition of Internet-of-Things evolved due to the convergence of multiple technologies, machine learning, robotic sensors and embedded systems. In this thesis, AWS services were studied and demo example implementation of an IoT system with basic functionality was developed. For development of demo example the following environment was used: nRF52840 Development Kit, Segger Embedded Studio, AWS console and mobile device on Android platform. Hardware runs Amazon FreeRTOS for microcontrollers, which uses Bluetooth Low Energy interface for sending data to the mobile device. The mobile device then sends the data to the cloud. Amazon FreeRTOS is an extension to the popular FreeRTOS kernel. It contains all the functionalities as the normal FreeRTOS, with additional libraries to connect with AWS services.
