Abstract
U ovom radu objašnjeno je izvođenje MapReduce funkcije i njezina implementacija u raspodijeljenoj obradi podataka u sustavu trgovačkog lanca. Za MapReduce funkciju je objašnjeno kako se grupiraju podaci u Map i Reduce dijelovima funkcije i kako izgleda konačan rezultat za korisnika. Opisan je razvojni okvir Hadoop, njegova arhitektura i instalacija. Provedena je uporaba MapReducea na skup podataka trgovačkog lanca. Napisani su primjeri u programskom jeziku Python i pokrenuti u Unix terminalu i u razvojnom okviru Hadoop.
Abstract (english)
This bachelor thesis explains execution of MapReduce function and implementation in distributed data processing in retail systems. It is explained how data is processed in Map and Reduce parts of function and how final result looks like for user. Hadoop framework is described, its architecture and installation. MapReduce is used on dataset of a retail system. Examples are written in Python Programming Language and run in Unix Terminal and Hadoop framework.
