Abstract
U ovom radu opisana je problematika stvaranja školskog rasporeda, te je predložena metoda rješavanja koja uključuje genetski algoritam. Priču o genetskom algoritmu uvelo je uvodno poglavlje o Darwinovoj teoriji evolucije. Zatim je predstavljen pojam genetskog algoritma i njegovi osnovni pojmovi: kromosomi, operacije mutiranja, selekcije i križanja, dobrota jedinke itd. Predstavljen je problem stvaranja rasporeda na primjeru stvarne škole u Velikoj Gorici, te je ponuđena programska potpora koja, koristeći tehnike genetskog algoritma nastoji riješiti taj problem.
Abstract (english)
This assignment underlines the difficulty of creating school schedule and suggests a solution that includes genetic algorithm. Chapter about genetic algorithm was introduced by recalling elementary concepts of Charles Darwin's evolution theory. The idea of genetic algorithm was presented with it's basic concepts, such as chromosomes, mutatioin, selection, crossover, fitness function and so on. Afterwards, main complications with creating school schedule were listed closely based on a real situation of a high school in Velika Gorica. The assignment also proposes a software solution of the mentioned problem using, of course, genetic algorithm.
