Abstract
Medicinsko osoblje diljem svijeta danas se koristi suvremenim informacijskim sustavima koji stavljaju pacijenta u središte smanjenjem administrativne barijere i čekanja, uz istodobno povećanje kvalitete i brzine pružene medicinske usluge. Dostupnost velikog broja raznovrsnih programskih rješenja u zdravstvenoj zaštiti otežava njihovo međusobno povezivanje. Uporaba posredničkih sustava značajno olakšava njihovo povezivanje u cjeloviti raspodijeljeni informacijski sustav. U magistarskom radu opisani su postojeći standardi i preporuke za povezivanje različitih subjekata u zdravstvenoj zaštiti. Kako se HL7 protokol istaknuo kao vodeći standard za razmjenu informacija u zdravstvu, u radu je predložena arhitektura HCAgent posredničkog sustava zasnovanog na HL7 protokolu. Definirana su programska sučelja za različite subjekte u zdravstvu, a poseban naglasak je postavljen na mehanizme zaštite povjerljivih medicinskih podataka kod prijenosa informacija. Programsko ostvarenje HCAgent posrednika prilagođeno je zahtjevima povezivanja klijentskih programa na središnji informacijski sustav primarne zdravstvene zaštite Republike Hrvatske. Iskustva korištenja HCAgent posrednika pokazala su prednosti, kako u procesu povezivanja, tako i u stvarnom radu.
Abstract (english)
Medical staff worldwide utilizes contemporary information systems putting the focus on patient, reducing administrative barriers and waiting time, simultaneously increasing the quality and agility of performed medical services. Availability of numerous diverse applications and solutions in healthcare complicates their integration. Utilizing middleware systems significantly facilitates their integration in one integrated distributed information system. This master thesis describes present standards and recommendations for integration of various subjects in healthcare. Since HL7 protocol stands out as a leading standard for information exchange in healthcare, the architecture of HCAgent middleware system based on HL7 protocol is recommended in this thesis. Application interfaces for various healthcare subjects are defined with particular emphasis on confidential medical data security mechanisms during information transfer. HCAgent application implementation is customized to meet the requirements of integrating client applications with primary healthcare central information system of Republic of Croatia. Utilization of HCAgent midleware has already proven some advantages in integration process as well as in real work.
