Abstract
Digitalni potpis sastavni je dio moderne kriptografije kojime se potvrd̄uje vlasništvo digitalnih dokumenata. ECDSA jedan je od algoritama za digitalno potpisivanje čiji je razvoj napredovao nakon pojave Bitcoin kriptovalute koja koristi ECDSA u svrhu obavljanja transakcija. Radi povećanja sigurnosti, tijekom razvoja se pojavila potreba za uvod̄enjem distribuiranog potpisivanja, temeljenog na sustavima za dijeljenje tajne (privatnog ključa) i sigurnog višekorisničkog računanja. Sustavi temeljeni na kriptografiji praga sastoje se od n korisnika kod kojih je za uspješno potpisivanje potrebno prisustvo t ili više korisnika (t ≤ n). U sklopu diplomskog rada postojeći višekorisnički ECDSA sustavi prošireni su protokolima za promjenu broja korisnika u sustavu i za ažuriranje dijelova distribuiranog privatnog ključa. Prototipi spomenutih protokola implementirani su na temelju postojeće implementacije višekorisničkog ECDSA sustava.
Abstract (english)
Digital signature is a core part of modern cryptography used for verifying the authenticity of digital documents. ECDSA is a digital signature algorithm that greatly progressed due to its use in the Bitcoin protocol. During the development of ECDSA-based systems, there was an interest in designing distributed signing protocols based on secret sharing schemes and secure multiparty computation. Systems based on threshold cryptography consist of a certain number of users, n, and allow successful signature construction for at least t users enganged in a protocol (t ≤ n). In this master thesis, multiparty ECDSA schemes are upgraded with additional protocols for changing number of users and updating shares of a distributed private key. Prototypes of the mentioned protocols are also implemented based on an existing multiparty ECDSA scheme implementation.
