Abstract
U procesu simuliranja interakcije elektromagnetskoga vala s kompozitnim materijalima nekom od numeričkih metoda potrebno je koristiti odgovarajuću prostornu diskretizaciju s ćelijama puno manjima od valne duljine vala i pojedinačnih ćelija koje upravo čine taj kompozitni materijal. To je redovito numerički prezahtjevno i za najsuvremenija računala pa se kod simuliranja kompozitnih materijala koristi homogenizacija. Riječ je o procesu u kojem se kompozitni materijal zamjenjuje homogenim materijalom na način da izvan materijala njegov odziv izgleda jednako kao i odziv kompozitnog materijala. Standardno se koriste geometrijski jednostavne jedinične ćelije, ali za posebna svojstva takvih materijala potrebno je koristiti i geometrijski složene ćelije kao i više različitih materijala. U sklopu diplomskog rada razvit će se baza jediničnih ćelija za koje će se pomoću procesa homogenizacije izračunati efektivni parametri te neuronska mreža koja će se trenirati na toj bazi podataka. Cilj rada je koristiti tako dobivenu neuronsku mrežu za izračun efektivnih parametara kompozitnih materijala sačinjenih od geometrijski kompleksnih jediničnih ćelija. U sklopu rada usporedit će se tako dobiveni efektivni parametri s efektivnim parametrima dobivenima homogenizacijom.
Abstract (english)
In the process of simulating interaction of an electromagnetic field with composite materials, used numerical methods must be combined with special spatial discretization with triangulation cells smaller than the wavelength of the incoming wave and smaller than material unit cell. This is unumerically too demanding for the most modern computers, so homogenization procedure is used to complete this task. Homogenization is a process in which a composite material is replaced by a homogeneous material in such a way that outside the material its response looks the same as the response of the composite material. In order to get particular material response it is necessary to use geometrically complex cells as well as several different materials. Database of unit cells together with their effective parameters calculated using standard homogenization procedure will be developed, as well as a neural network that will be trained on the database. The aim of this thesis is to use the neural network to calculate the effective parameters of composite materials composed of geometrically complex unit cells. As part of the thesis, the effective parameters obtained in this way will be compared with the effective parameters obtained by standard homogenization procedure.
