Abstract
Mnogi današnji problemi svedivi su na matrice i matrični račun. U stalnom napretku računarske znanosti takvi problemi zahtijevaju sve efikasniju izvedbu. Ideja je prirodno paralelizirajuće probleme implementirati tako da su pogodni za masovnu paralelizaciju na današnjim specijaliziranim uređajima za masovno paralelno izvođenje. Jedna od tehnologija koja omogućava komunikaciju s takvim uređajima jest tehnologija OpenCL. OpenCL tehnologija je tehnologije niske razine napravljena za paralelno izvođenje programa ne samo na jednom, nego i na više uređaja odjednom. Putem tehnologije OpenCL implementirani su algoritmi osnovnih matričnih operacija te su uspoređene njihove mogućnosti i vremena izvođenja.
Abstract (english)
Many of today's problems are reducible to matrices and matrix calculus. In the constant progress of computer science, such problems require more and more efficient solutions. The idea is to implement naturally parallelizing problems in a way that is suitable for mass parallelization on today's specialized devices for mass parallel execution. One of the technologies that allows communication with such devices is OpenCL. OpenCL is a low-level technology designed to run programs in parallel on not just one, but multiple devices at once. Algorithms of basic matrix operations were implemented using the OpenCL technology, and their capabilities and execution times were compared.
