Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je osmisliti i modelirati web aplikaciju koja simulira prometne tokove u paketskim mrežama. Na klijentskoj strani korisnik unosi parametre važne za rad aplikacije i šalje zahtjeve poslužitelju koji ih obrađuje. Ovisno tome je li obrada bila uspješna, poslužitelj prikazuje podatke koji su zatraženi tim zahtjevom. Za određivanje broja poslanih paketa u jedinici vremena koristili smo Poissonovu razdiobu dok smo za točno određivanje vremena slanja paketa koristili eksponencijalnu razdiobu. Aplikacija je u cijelosti napisana u programskom jeziku Java.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to design and model a web application that simulates traffic flows in packet networks. On the client side, the user enters parameters important to the operation of the application and sends requests to the server that processes them. Depending on whether the processing was successful, the server displays the data requested by that request. We used the Poisson distribution to determine the number of packets sent in a unit of time, while we used the exponential distribution to determine the exact time of sending packets. The application is written entirely in the Java programming language.
