Abstract
U ovom radu analizirane su potencijalne alternative pogonu na dizelsko gorivo u pomorskom sektoru. Posebna pozornost je obraćena na gorivne članke, vodik, amonijak, Li-OH baterije i prirodni plin. Iznesene su njihove prednosti i mane te trenutna uloga u pomorskom prometu. Nakon toga je razrađen jedan slučaj katamarana pogonjena na kombinaciju PEM gorivnih članaka i električnih baterija koji prometuje na lokalnoj liniji. Dimenzioniranje tog sustava te usporedba s trajektom koji vozi na dizelski pogon je omogućila uvid u razlike i benefite koje se dobivaju implementiranjem novih „zelenih“ tehnologija. Za kraj je je izvršena analiza životnog ciklusa pogona na gorivne članke i električne baterije kako bi dobili realan prikaz iskoristivosti sustava te samog utjecaja na okoliš.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, potential alternatives to diesel fuel propulsion in the maritime sector are analyzed. Special attention is paid to fuel cells, hydrogen, ammonia, Li-OH batteries and natural gas. Their advantages and disadvantages and their current role in maritime transport are presented. Then is developed one case of a catamaran powered by combination of PEM fuel cells and electric batteries operating on a local line. The sizing of the system and the comparison with the diesel-powered ferry provided insight into the differences and benefits obtained by implementing new “green” technologies. Finally, the „life cycle“ of fuel cell drives and electric batteries was analyzed in order to get a realistic view of the usability of the system and the impact on environment.
