Abstract
Softverski roboti koji se izrađuju u RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tehnologiji sposobni su raditi mnoge stvari na računalu kao i čovjek, na primjer: kopirati tekst, čitati podatke, prepisivati podatke iz jedne aplikacije u drugu, prijavljivati se u aplikaciju, ispunjavati formulare, slijediti poveznice i slično. Zbog toga mogu biti korisni u obavljanju poslova koji podrazumijevaju mnogo ponavljajućih radnji. Bitna prednost primjene softverskih robota u odnosu na ručno obavljanje takvih poslova je u tome što roboti posao mogu obaviti znatno brže i što je, ako je automatizacija dobro implementirana, mogućnost pogreške smanjena na minimum. Završni rad objašnjava RPA tehnologiju, zašto i kako je nastala te koje su njezine prednosti u odnosu na dosadašnje izvršavanje svakodnevnih zadataka. Pojašnjen je pojam RPA tehnologije, pojam automatizacije i pojam robota. Zatim su predstavljeni kriteriji koji trebaju biti zadovoljeni kako bi se automatizacija uspješno implementirala. U nastavku je, kao primjer primjene, predstavljena automatizacija procesa formiranja grupe (tima) za neki kolegij na fakultetu na platformi MSTeams s ciljem održavanja nastave na daljinu. Automatizirano je dodavanje studenata u grupu (jednog po jednog), zakazivanje sastanaka te prenošenje materijala za učenje s računala u odgovarajuću grupu na Teams platformi.
Abstract (english)
Software robots made in RPA (Robotic Process Automation) technology are capable of doing many things on a computer like humans, for example: copying text, reading data, copying data from one application to another, logging in to the application, filling out forms, following links, etc. Therefore, they can be useful in performing tasks that involve many repetitive actions. An important advantage of using software robots over manually performing such tasks is that robots can do the job much faster and that, if automation is well implemented, the possibility of error is reduced to a minimum. The final paper explains RPA technology, why and how it was created and what are its advantages over manual task performing. The concept of RPA technology, the concept of automation and the concept of robots are clarified. Then, the criteria that need to be met in order for automation to be successfully implemented are presented. As an example of application, the automation of the process of forming a group (team) for a course at the faculty on the MSTeams platform with the aim of distance learning is presented. Adding students to the group (one by one), scheduling meetings and transferring learning materials from the computer to the appropriate group on the Teams platform is automated.
