Abstract
U okviru rada izrađen je sustav za video nadzor s automatskim prepoznavanjem lica. Središnji dio sustava čini mikrokontroler ESP32-CAM sa integriranom video kamerom. Važan aspekt implementiranog sustava za nadzor je softver za prepoznavanje lica. Detekcija i prepoznavanje lica odvija se na mikrokontroleru ESP-32, koji također implementira i jednostavan web server. Putem web servera omogućen je real-time pristup videu sa kamere, te je moguće odabrati razne postavke softvera za detekciju i prepoznavanje lica. Nakon što sustav detektira poznato lice, informacija o tom događaju automatski se šalje administraturu sustava putem MQTT protokola. Sustav je uspješno testiran, te su detaljno dokumentirane prednosti i nedostaci istog.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis we develop a simple video surveillance system with automatic face recognition. The central part of the system is a microcontroller ESP32-CAM with an integrated video camera. The important part of the system is a software for face detection/recognition. The face detection/recognition process is run on ESP-32 that also implements a simple web server. The web server provides a simple dashboard for viewing video stream from the camera in real-time. Through the dashboard one can also configure different parameters of the face detection/recognition software. Upon successful detection and recognition of a person, the system sends a notification to the administrator using the MQTT protocol. The system as a whole is tested and all relevant system parts are documented.
