Abstract
U svrhu ovog diplomskog rada obrađen je razvoj i implementirana web aplikacije u MERN stack razvojnom okruženju, primjenjiva za unaprjeđenje komunikacije među alumnijima Fakulteta. Donesena je definicija MERN okruženja kao seta tehnologija napisanih u jednom programskom jeziku – JavaScript koji pruža fleksibilnost i skalabilnost aplikacije. Opisane su tehnologije i koncepti korišteni na klijentskoj i serverskoj strani zajedno sa primjerima. Na klijentskoj strani korištena je React tehnologija zajedno sa Redux bibliotekom a na serverskoj strani Node.js tehnologija zajedno sa Express frameworkom za organizaciju koda. Za skladištenje podataka korištena je nerelacijska cloud MongoDB baza podataka. Prikazane su komponente korisničkog sučelja i njihova uloga. U konačnici je opisana produkcijska verzija implementirane aplikacije.
Abstract (english)
For the purpose of the thesis, a project was implemented using the MERN stack development environment. The definition of MERN environment as a set of technologies written in one programming language – JavaScript, which provides flexibility and scalability of the application is given. Technologies and concepts used on the client and server side are described along with examples. On the client side, React technology was used together with the Redux library and on the server side Node.js technology together with the Express framework for code organization. A non-relational MongoDB cloud database was used for data storage. User interface components and their roles are shown. Finally, the production version of the implemented application was demonstrated. The application is applicable for the improvement of communication among the alumni of the Faculty.
