Abstract
U ovom radu opisan je proces razvoja sustava koji služi za kontrolu toplinske ugodnosti u uredu. Sustav uključuje manualni i automatski režim rada. Teoretski dio uključuje definiranje korisnika sustava, njihovih potreba, korisničkih scenarija i značajki sustava. U tu svrhu provedena su dva kruga intervjua s pripadnicima ciljne skupine, čiji se transkript nalazi u prilogu rada. Po završetku analize rezultata intervjua razvijen je low-fidelity prototip koji omogućuje brze izmjene i daje kvalitetan uvid u interakciju korisnika sa sustavom. Kao metoda testiranja odabrana je Wizard of Oz tehnika prilikom koje jedan ispitivač ima ulogu moderatora te provodi korisnika kroz predefinirane scenarije, a drugi simulira ponašanje sustava korisniku. Nakon revizije snimki navedenog testa, razvijen je high-fidelity prototip pri čemu su korišteni Figma i Protopie alati. Figma je korištena prilikom dizajna komponenti i sučelja, no zbog nedostatataka pri dizajnu interakcija proces je nastavljen u Protopie programu. Završetkom high-fidelity prototipiranja proveden je test s nekoliko ispitanika. Test je ovoga puta vodio jedan moderator prolazivši kroz scenarije identične prvom testu u svrhu pronalaska daljnjih problema. Povratne informacije od korisnika poslužile su pri razvoju demo aplikacije sustava. Demo aplikacija razvijena je u Ionic i Angular platformama kao web aplikacija, ali i kao web aplikacija koju je moguće pokrenuti nativno na Android operacijskom sustavu. Kao parametar kojeg je potrebno kontrolirati putem aplikacije odabrana je svjetlost, za što se koriste Philips Hue žarulja i most koji omogućuje povezivanje i slanje http zahtjeva u svrhu upravljanja žaruljom. Omogućeno je paljenje i gašenje žarulje na gumb te povećanje sjajnosti putem slidera. Automatsku komponentu rada predstavljaju parametri automatskog paljenja ili gašenja svjetla u određenom trenutku, te automatskog paljenja svjetla u slučaju naoblake ili zalaska sunca ovisno o lokaciji korisnika. Na kraju su dani prijedlozi za daljnji razvoj i buduća poboljšanja sustava.
Abstract (english)
This thesis describes the process of developing a system used to monitor thermal comfort in an office. The system can be in either manual or automatic mode. The theoretical part includes defining the users, their needs, scenarios and system features. To gain more insight, two rounds of interviews were conducted with members of the target group and transcripts are provided as an attachment to the thesis. After completing the analysis of interview results, a low-fidelity prototype was developed in order to make swift changes as well as to observe interactions between user and the system. In order to test the prototype, the Wizard of Oz method was used. Aformentioned method requires two examiners, one of which acts as a moderator and guides users through predefined scenarios, while the other simulates the system behavior. Upon revision, a high-fidelity prototype was developed using Figma and Protopie tools. Figma was used for designing the components and the interface, but due to shortcomings in interaction design a migration to Protopie was due. High fidelity prototype was tested with several subjects. This time one moderator oversaw the test, his role was to guide participants through identical scenarios in order to get more input about the design pitfalls. Feedback from the users was used to develop a demo application of the system. The application was developed in Ionic and Angular as a web application, but can also be used as a web application which runs natively on Android. Lighting was chosen as a parameter which the user controls via the application, using a Philips Hue bulb and a bridge. Bridge enables the user to control the bulb by sending http requests. User is able to turn the lamp on and off or change brightness levels. The automatic mode includes schedules which turn the light on or off at the predefined time and switch the light on in case of overcast and during sunset, according to the user's location. Lastly, suggestions for further development and futuree improvements of the system are given
