Optimization process of high-pressure die casting parameters are presented and explained in this thesis. The second chapter explains the process of high-pressure casting and lists its advantages and disadvantages. Then in the third chapter the importance of machines in casting is explained. The divisions of the machines are given and the two main performances are described in detail, namely the cold chamber machines and the hot chamber machines. The fourth chapter describes in detail the influence of technological parameters on the properties of the casting and on the casting process. Through all three phases, the influence of speed and pressure is described, and then the influence of mold, melt and cooling temperatures on the casting is explained. As a conclusion to this chapter, an Ishikawa diagram is made showing the influence of technological parameters. Chapter five describes aluminum and its alloys as one of the most common materials used to perform high pressure casting. In the sixth chapter, the calculation and masses of all parts of the inflow system are presented, and good dimensioning has been proven by the efficiency factor. In the seventh chapter, two mathematical models were obtained using the Box-Behnken method, which speak of the dependence of output parameters on input parameters. Seventeen combinations of experiments were also generated using the Box-Behnken method. All seventeen combinations of experiments were conducted in NovaFlow & Solid. The results of the simulations record the values of the output variables. Optimization of mathematical models was performed using genetic algorithms in Matlab. Finally, the last simulation was performed with optimal input parameters. The results of this simulation are presented at the end of the chapter and conclusions are drawn from them.
