Abstract
U radu je navedena definicija skladišta podataka i njegove glavne značajke i procesi. Dana je usporedba skladišta podataka s transakcijskim sustavom i njihove glavne razlike. Opisano je modeliranje logičke strukture skladišta i različite metode na koje je to moguće učiniti. Nadalje, opisan je Power BI kao alat poslovne inteligencije u kojem se izrađuju konačna izvješća. Osim teorijskog pregleda, u radnji je detaljno opisan čitavi proces izrade skladišta podataka i izvještajnog sustava temeljenog na informacijskom sustavu eAssist. Također, spomenut je plan razvoja u budućnosti, kao i mogućnost za napredak u smislu korištenja modernijih tehnologija. Tehnologije koje se koriste prilikom izrade praktičnog dijela rada su Microsoft SQL Server 2019, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) i Microsoft Power BI Desktop.
Abstract (english)
The paper presents the definition of a data warehouse and its main features and processes. A comparison of data warehouses with the transaction system and their main differences is given. The modeling of the logical structure of the warehouse and the different methods by which this can be done are described. Furthermore, Power BI is described as a business intelligence tool in which final reports are generated. In addition to the theoretical overview, the paper describes in detail the entire process of creating a data warehouse and reporting system based on the eAssist information system. A plan for future development is also mentioned, as well as the possibility of progress in terms of using more modern technologies. The technologies used in the practical part of the paper are Microsoft SQL Server 2019, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and Microsoft Power BI Desktop.
