Abstract
JHipster represents a platform for advanced code generation, which is one way of advancing programming techniques. The paper provides a brief overview of programming towards code generation with the aim of understanding the very need for such a tool. Then the topic of the paper, JHipster, and how it achieves its tasks and functions are explained, accompanied by an explanation of the application, along with a user's view of the generator. Then some of the basic technologies that are used in generated applications are explained. After an overview of JHipster and technologies, a concrete use case for the generator was demonstrated on the example of a simple library web application. The focus is on analysing the generation process itself and the necessary steps to provide additional explanations accompanied by examples, an insight into the required effort and to show the explained technologies in the act. Then, a more complex way of using the JHipster platform through blueprints was covered, accompanied by explanations of creating a new blueprint. This paper can serve as a manual to help computer engineers use the described computer platform or to expand their knowledge.

JHipster predstavlja platformu za napredno generiranje koda, koje je jedan od načina razvoja tehnika programiranja. U radu je dan kratak pregled programiranje prema generiranju koda s ciljem razumijevanja same potrebe za takvim alatom. Zatim je objašnjena tema rada, JHipster, kako ostvaruje svoje zadaće i funkcionira popraćeno s objašnjenjem primjene pružajući i korisničkog pogled na generator. Potom su objašnjene neke od osnovnih tehnologija koje se koriste u generiranim aplikacijama. Nakon pregleda JHipstera i tehnologija demonstriran je konkretan slučaj korištenja generatora na primjeru jednostavne web aplikacije za knjižnicu. Glavni fokus je na analiziranju samog postupka generiranja i potrebnih koraka kako bi se pružila dodatna objašnjenja popraćena primjerima, uvid u potreban napor i prikazale objašnjene tehnologije na djelu. Potom je obrađen kompleksniji način upotrebe JHipster platforme putem blueprintova popraćen s objašnjenjima stvaranja novog blueprinta. Ovaj rad može poslužiti kao priručnik za pomoć računalnim inženjerima pri korištenju opisane računalne platforme ili za proširenje znanja.
