Abstract
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je istražiti područje 3D rekonstrukcije na temelju postupaka računalnog vida. U sklopu su rada prikazani i opisani procesi dobivanja depth map-e na temelju stereo vida, point cloud-a na temelju te depth map-e te mesh-a na temelju tog point cloud-a. Napravljen je sustav koji kontinuirano vrši rekonstrukciju objekta promatranog ZED Mini kamerom te ga prikazuje u 3D unity aplikaciji. Generiranje objekata od point cloud-a je odrađeno na bazi Open3D mesh API-a. Vrijeme izvođenja rada sustava i kvalitete generiranih 3D modela su uspoređene u ovisnosti o odabranima parametrima i metodama.
Abstract (english)
The goal of this paper was to explore the area of 3D reconstruction based on computer vision. Within are described the processes of extracting a depth map from from the ZED mini camera API, as well as the generation of point clouds based on those depth maps. Also described are the processes of generating meshes based on those point clouds. A system was created that aims to continously reconstruct an object using 3D meshes, which is visualized in a unity application. The process was tested based on the properties of the recorded environment as well as the methods used to generate the meshes.
