Abstract
Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati odnos nekih osobina ličnosti i vozačkog lokusa kontrole sa sklonošću prosocijalnoj vožnji. Sudionici su bili studenti prve tri godine Prehrambeno-tehnološkog fakulteta u Osijeku, N=86, od toga 68 žena i 18 muškaraca; raspona dobi od 19 do 38 godina. Korišteni instrumenti su sociodemografski upitnik, skala Prosocijalne vožnje iz Upitnika prosocijalne i agresivne vožnje (PADI), zatim verzija Upitnika petfaktorskog modela ličnosti sa 44 čestice (BFI) i Upitnik vozačkog lokusa kontrole (T-LOC). Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da je samo savjesnost značajno pozitivno povezana sa prosocijalnom vožnjom te da je pozitivan prediktor sklonosti prosocijalnoj vožnji. Ostale osobine ličnosti nisu se pokazale značajno povezanima sa prosocijalnom vožnjom. No, dobiveno je da je internalni lokus u negativnoj korelaciji sa prosocijalnom vožnjom te i je i negativan prediktor prosocijalne vožnje, dok je faktor Drugi vozači u pozitivnoj korelaciji sa prosocijalnom vožnjom te i njen pozitivan prediktor. Rezultati nude praktične implikacije u selekciji profesionalnih vozača i u programima prevencije prometnih nesreća.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this research was to examine the relation between some personality traits and driver locus of control, with the proneness to prosocial driving. Participants were college students of Faculty of Food Technology in Osijek, N=86, 68 of them were female and 18 were male, with the age range 19-38. The instruments included a sociodemographic questionnaire, Prosocial Driving Scale from the Prosocial and Aggressive Driving Inventory (PADI), Big Five Inventory (BFI) and Traffic Locus of Control Scale (T-LOC). The results indicate that solely the trait Conscientiousness was significantly positively correlated to prosocial driving, and was the predictor of proneness to prosocial driving, while other personality traits were not. Furthermore, internal locus of control was found to be negatively correlated to prosocial driving and was a negative predictor of it, while the factor Other drivers was positively correlated and was a positive predictor of prosocial driving. The results of this study provide practical implications in professional driver selection and in traffic accidents prevention.
