Abstract
In der vorliegenden Diplomarbeit wird der Roman Krabat von Otfried Preußler analysiert, indem auf die mythologischen und magischen Elemente von Preußlers Werk eingegangen wird. Zuerst werden Angaben zum Leben und Wirken von Otfried Preußler dargeboten, wonach der Roman selbst vorgestellt wird. Daraufhin folgt die Darstellung der phantastischen Kinder- und Jugendliteratur als Genre, bzw. die Struktur und die Modelle sowie die wichtigsten Motive dieser Literatur werden aufgezählt und analysiert. Im zentralen Teil der Arbeit werden übernatürliche Romanelemente analysiert, zum einen die mythologische Grundlage des Romanstoffes, die hier mittels Cassirers Mythentheorie besprochen wird, zum anderen magische Motive, die Preußler in seinen Roman einbaut. Abschließend wird zusammenfassend hervorgehoben, warum man Preußlers Roman Krabat zur phantastischen Kinder- und Jugendliteratur zählt.
Abstract (croatian)
U radu se analiziraju mitološki i magični elementi Preußlerova romana Krabat. Uvodno se ukratko predstavlja život i djelo Otfrieda Preußlera, a potom i sam roman. U tom se dijelu rada još iznose podaci o fantastičnoj dječjoj književnosti kao žanru tako što se navode osnovna obilježja strukture i modela, kao i najvažniji motivi fantastične dječje književnosti. U središnjem dijelu rada analiziraju se nadnaravni elementi romana Krabat, i to s jedne strane njegova mitološka osnova na temelju Cassirerove teorije mita, a s druge pojedini magični motivi za kojima Preußler poseže u svom djelu. Završno se ističu razlozi zbog kojih se Preußlerov roman Krabat smatra djelom s područja fantastične dječje književnosti.
