Abstract
Das Thema dieser Arbeit sind zyklische Motive in Ernst Stadlers Gedichtsammlung Der Aufbruch. Zum Zweck der Analyse wurden drei Gedichte aus der Sammlung ausgewählt: Worte, Der Aufbruch und Fahrt über die Kölner Rheinbrücke bei Nacht. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Identifizierung der zyklischen Motive und der Darlegung dessen Bedeutung in einzelnen Gedichten im Zyklus. Einführend wird im theoretischen Teil der Begriff zyklisches Motiv erläutert, dessen Charakteristika genannt und es wird von anderen ähnlichen Begriffen unterscheidet, wonach die im Zyklus Auftretenden zyklischen Motive ausführlicher dargelegt werden und dessen Bedeutsamkeit im Zyklus erklärt werden. Dem folgt die Analyse der Gedichtsammlung Der Aufbruch, die vorgestellt wird und im Kontext eines zyklischen Werkes erörtert wird. Anschließend werden die drei ausgewählten Gedichte anhand der Form und des Inhalts analysiert, wobei die Behandlung der zyklischen Motive im Vordergrund beibehalten wird. Im Schlusswort wird das Wichtigste noch zusätzlich zusammengefasst und wiederholt.
