Abstract
Cilj je ovog rada ispitati stavove osoba treće životne dobi o obrazovanju nakon odlaska u mirovinu. Napretkom svijeta i medicine, danas ljudi žive duže, a osobe treće životne dobi čine veliki dio društva. No sve većim starenjem stanovništva, događaju se i promjene u svim sferama društva, pa tako i u obrazovanju. Ljudi uče tijekom cijeloga života i često su prisiljeni na promjene, a zbog toga cjeloživotno učenje sve više dobiva na važnosti. Ono postaje ideal prema kojem težimo. Upravo je zbog toga potrebno ispitati stavove osoba treće životne dobi o obrazovanju nakon mirovine, kako bi se vidjelo postoji li potreba ili želja za obrazovanjem koje ne daje korist u profesionalnom smislu, već osobnom i životnom.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to examine the attitudes of the elderly about education upon retiring. As a result of the advances in medicine and the world in general, people in this day and age tend to live longer, which is why the elderly make up a much larger portion of society than before. As the population ages more and more, changes are taking place in all spheres of society, including education. People learn throughout their entire lives and are often forced to cope with changes, which results in lifelong learning taking on increased importance. It becomes the ideal we strive for. That is why it is necessary to examine the attitudes of the elderly about education upon retirement in order to see whether there is a demand or desire for education that provides people not with professional, but personal and lifestyle benefits
